Daytona Beach 2015
What a Trip!
Thank you for your gift and your prayers in supporting
my ministry this summer. The three weeks that I was in
Daytona Beach, Florida was life-changing. I was able to
do evangelism on the beach, on a college campus and to
the homeless. Not only did I do evangelism but also in
those three weeks I was able to learn how to dig deeper
in studying the Bible and experience sharing the Gospel
with people from all walks of life.
I could have easily gone to Daytona for a vacation but
to see how many people that were lost was very eye
opening. For me, I thought it was amazing to see how
people could be so open with you even when you donít
know them. I cannot put into words how awesome it was to
hear each personís unique story as we shared with them.
I have to say it was heartbreaking to hear what some
have gone through in life. We encountered people who
were believers, some who didnít believe anything and
then those who needed encouragement to keep pushing
forward to God.
As I was on this trip I was absolutely blessed to be
around Godly mentors who pointed me closer to the Lord.
These mentors helped me grow even more in my personal
relationship with Christ. One of the best parts about
this mission trip was spending six straight hours with
Christ. It was the best six hours I have ever spent. I
challenge you to do the same but maybe 2 to 3 hours.
I learned so much on this mission trip but the community
of friends I had down there was breathtaking. People
from all over the United States came together for this
mission trip to honor and serve God. Not only is it
great to be a Christian but also to have like-minded
Christian friends is another advantage. To go on this
trip for three weeks to share the love of Jesus I can
gladly say I did not want to leave. As Christians we
have the most precious gift. We need to go out in the
world to share Jesus with others. I cherish all the
conversations and memories I made in Daytona. Now, I am
home but I am still on a mission to share the Gospel
with people everywhere I go. Thank you all so much for
your prayers. It meant a lot to me! Please join me in
praying that God would continually deepen my commitment
to the cause of Christ. ďFor we are to God the pleasing
aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and
those who are perishing.Ē 2 Corinthians 2:15
